Hello PES Families,
Thank you for your patience and understanding in this unprecedented time! We are finishing up finalizing class lists and plans for the upcoming school year. We know there are so many questions for the upcoming school year, as we have been working through many of them the past few weeks. Attached to this email, please find the Elementary specific protocols. These highlight arrival, dismissal, specials, lunch, recess and many other details.
Towards the end of next week, your child/ren's teachers will be reaching out to you to connect. They will also let you know how they plan to do a Virtual Meet the Teacher event. As outlined in the protocols, no in person events will be held this year because of health and safety concerns related to Covid-19. We will also send out another school-wide update which will include videos of arrival and dismissal.
Finally, we ask for your help in the next couple of weeks preparing your children to wear masks. While we have built in mask breaks every couple of hours for students and staff members, we know it will be an adjustment for everyone! Please start practicing with your child so it is not as much of an adjustment when they come to school. As always, we value your partnership, and it will be essential this year as we work to maintain a healthy and safe environment for staff and students!
One thing is for certain -- we are excited to reunite with our PES family!
