This program focuses on foundation skills, daily living skills, social skills, and indepedent living skills, as well as the implementation and development of the Nebraska State Academic Standards based on the students individual needs.

I have been teaching for a total of 13 years, with the last 8 years being with the Plattsmouth Community School District. I was born and raised in a small town in New Hamphsire, obtained my undergraduate degree in Physical Education and Health, and taught for the first five years of my career in the Sounthern part of New Hampshire. In December of 2009, I got married and moved to Nebraska with my Husband Thomas, and my two sons Thomas Jr and Austin. I gained my Master's Degree from the University of Phoenix and I began teaching in Plattsmouth in 2010. I have been teaching in the Elementary and Middle School Special Education Deprtments ever since.

I look forward to the opportunity to work with the various students of the Plattsmouth Community School District for now and the years to come. If there are any questions or concerns please feel to contact me at
