From college prep to career-ready, PHS students don't have to choose a lane early. Our Career Academies in STEAM, Business, and CTE give students hands-on experience in fields ranging from healthcare and engineering to automotive, culinary arts, and construction — right here in Plattsmouth. The same community that cheers on the Blue Devils on Friday nights is helping prepare our graduates for what comes next on Monday mornings.
Our AFJROTC program develops leadership and discipline. Our activities program — from speech and drama to fifteen varsity sports — gives every student a place to belong and compete. And our counseling team works with students from freshman year onward on course planning, college applications, scholarships, and career exploration.

A community school with career-ready ambitions
In 2019, Plattsmouth voters passed a bond to expand our Career Academy facilities — adding culinary arts, automotive/diesel, welding, and construction programs to a school that was already doing great things. That vote said something about this community: it believes in its kids enough to invest in their future. We haven't forgotten that, and we don't take it lightly.
