Tina Harvey, Principal
Dr. Tina Harvey is a proud graduate of Plattsmouth High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University and began her career in education with Bellevue Public Schools in 2000. She later completed a Master of Education at Peru State College and a Doctor of Education in Educational Administration from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Dr. Harvey joined Plattsmouth Community Schools in 2014 and continues to serve the district with a strong commitment to student success and community pride.
Kevin Tilson, Assistant Principal
Mr. Tilson is a proud Plattsmouth High School graduate. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Peru State College in 2003 and later completed a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2013. Throughout his career, he has been dedicated to Plattsmouth High School, serving as a teacher, coach, and administrator while supporting the success of students both in and out of the classroom.
Luke Chadwell, Activities Director
Mr. Luke Chadwell joined Plattsmouth Community Schools in 2021. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Peru State College and began his career in Madison, Nebraska. He went on to spend ten years as an elementary physical education teacher in Superior, Nebraska. Mr. Chadwell later earned a Master’s degree in Physical Education from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and is currently working toward his principal certification.
Dan Oatman, Career Academy Coordinator
Mr. Oatman is a graduate of Buena Vista University and began his teaching career in 1995. He joined Plattsmouth High School in 2005, where he has served as both a teacher and coach. Since the launch of Career Academies at PHS in 2016, Mr. Oatman has played a key leadership role, guiding both the STEAM Academy and Academy Core teams. He has also participated in several national conferences focused on Career Academy leadership and earned his certification as a member of the Career Academy Leadership Cadre through the National Career Academy Coalition.
