ANTI-BULLYING MESSAGE FROM PCS-The Plattsmouth Community School District believes that all students deserve a safe and healthy learning environment. We also recognize that schools must be physically and emotionally safe for all students, in order to fulfill our mission of working in partnership to ensure academic achievement, responsible behavior, and civic engagement.

Throughout the nation and in our own school district, there has been a heightened concern about bullying. Bullying is when an individual or a group of people with more power repeatedly and intentionally cause hurt or harm to another person or group of people who feel helpless to respond to it. Our school district will not tolerate acts of bullying, including the use of language (written or oral) and conduct (including gestures) that are profane or abusive to students or staff members. Profane or abusive language or conduct includes, but is not limited to, that which is commonly understood and intended to be derogatory toward a group or individual based upon race, gender, disability, national origin, or religion. We will investigate all reported incidents and issue consequences, accordingly.
