Notice of Request for Proposals (RFP) for Student Transportation Services

 The Plattsmouth Community School District invites proposals for Student Transportation Services that commence with the first day of student attendance in the 2020-2021 school year.

Proposals should be based on 2019-2020 transportation needs. Any necessary changes will be negotiated with the winning company.

A mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held in the Administration Center Board Room, 1912 Old Hwy. 34, Plattsmouth, NE, at 5:00 p.m. on Mon., Jan. 27, 2020. The District will not accept proposals from companies that are not present at the pre-proposal meeting.

Each proposal must be submitted on the prescribed RFP form provided with the Transportation RFP Portfolio and must be contained in a sealed envelope with the words “Transportation RFP” written on the outside of the envelope. Proposals should be submitted to the Office of the Superintendent no later than 5:00 PM on Mon., Feb. 24, 2020. RFPs will be opened in the Administration Center Board Room, 1912 Old Hwy. 34, Plattsmouth, NE, at 5:00 PM on Mon., Feb. 24, 2020.

Proposals will be reviewed at the Operations Committee meeting that is scheduled for 5:30 PM on Mon., Mar. 2, 2020, as well as the workshop and regular meeting of the Board of Education at 1912 Old Hwy. 34, Plattsmouth, NE, at 6:30 PM and 7:00 PM, respectively, on Mon., Mar. 9, 2020.
